We fill our positions by means of executive search.
In other words, we draw up precise candidate and job profiles and on this basis research a list of companies where such candidates are likely to currently work.
We approach people in the relevant position specifically about the vacancy to be filled, without initially naming our client. Should a general interest be shown, a more in-depth dialogue follows. Where the candidate proves interested and suitable, he is taken into the search process which ultimately leads to the shortlist of candidates and an introduction to the client.
Our task here is to demonstrate to a potential candidate at an early stage what opportunities and challenges the position offers, to compare these with his requirements and ambitions, and to decide rapidly whether the candidate and the position match. For both the client and the candidate, an accurate appraisal of this match is an essential yardstick for the service we provide.
As recruitment consultants, we are in a position of trust with both our clients and the candidates. We constantly have their interests in mind and negotiate, as they would wish. Yet it is always the companies who are our clients. They commission the search and pay our fees. It is our duty to them to fill positions as well as possible. We maintain contact with several thousand highly qualified management staff, but it is not at their request that we act.
